State Senator Anthony Williams, visited Today's Child on April 1, to film some advertisements for his gubernatorial campaign with our children. Students from Today's Child centers at Sharon Hill School, Delcroft, and other Southeast Delco schools participated, listening to Senator Williams speak on topics ranging from gun control to education.

   Williams is currently a Democratic State Senator, who represents a large part of Southeast Delaware County and part of Philadelphia County.

   The senator was accompanied by members of his staff and several Darby police officers, who were also featured in the ads. Several of our staff members also were featured in the ads, portraying concerned parents and community members.

   The commercials were shot in and around our corporate office, Main Campus and Head Start facilities.

   In between lunch and costume changes, Williams had a chance to chat with members of the Today's Child staff and some parents who were present to see the roles their children played in the process.

   For all involved, the day was both fun and interesting. Today's Child was happy to lend its facilities to a local candidate for governor.
