Today's Child's Colwyn Center will be hosting a family carnival on Friday, April 16, 2010 in celebration of the Week of the Young Child. The carnival will run from 10:00am-5:30pm.

     The carnival will have a moon bounce, face painting and an appearance by the fire departments of both Colwyn and Darby Boroughs. Mayor Helen Thomas of Darby and Mayor Daniel Rutland of Colwyn will also be present.

      At Media, parents spent the day Tuesday reading to their children as part of Media's "Mystery Reader" program. Wednesday will be Phillies Day; students will come in decked out in their team colors. Thursday, Media will have their "Un-Birthday," celebrating everyone's birthday. Friday is Field Day at Media, with outdoor activities for all the children.
