Today’s Child Learning Centers pleased to announce its annual Pre-Kindergaten and Preschool graduation ceremonies. The graduates, decked out in caps and gowns, will be receiving their diplomas during the week of June 7, 2010.    

   The students will be joined by their families as they bid farewell to preschool and move on to either Kindergarten or Pre-Kindergarten. Some of the students graduating were participants in Pennsylvania’s Pre-K Counts program, a free Pre-Kindergarten program for children designated as at-risk.

The ceremonies will take place in the following order:

Jun. 7 – Today’s Child – Media Campus – 350 W. State St. Media, PA 19063, 3:00pm.

Jun. 9 – Today’s Child – Colwyn Campus – 328 Main St. Colwyn, PA 19023, 3:00pm

Jun. 10 – Today’s Child – Springfield Campus – 542 Wesley Rd. Springfield, PA 19064, 3:00pm

Jun. 10 – Today’s Child – Primos Campus – 723 Secane Ave. Primos, PA 19018, 3:00pm

Jun. 11 – Today’s Child – Main Campus – 235 Sharon Ave. Sharon Hill, PA 19079, 3:00pm    

   The children’s teachers will reflect on the year gone by as they present each student with a certificate stating their completion of this year’s program. Area legislators have been invited to come to the ceremonies and show their support for early childhood education.  

    The graduation ceremony highlights the importance of high quality Pre-K education to children and families in our area who would otherwise struggle without the Pre-K Counts Program.
