Today's Child is proud to return to SE Delco Schools!  

 


Starting with the 2025–2026 school year, Before & After Care will be available in every SE Delco School for children in Kindergarten through 8th Grade. We’re honored to expand our partnership with the Southeast Delco School District and continue serving families with high-quality, convenient care—right in your child’s school.

Before-Care begins at 7:00 AM at the Kindergarten Center, Harris School, Sharon Hill School, Delcoft School, and Darby Township School.

 

For families who need an earlier drop-off, our Sharon Hill and Clifton Heights centers open at 6 am to support your schedule. FREE Transportation will be provided to your child's school in the morning. 


After-Care runs until 6:00 PM at all locations, providing a seamless, stress-free solution for working parents.

 

Families of Kindergarten students may also choose to have their child bussed to a neighborhood school for convenience, or so they can stay with older siblings.

We’ve been serving the Southeast Delco community for over 35 years, with a proud 27-year partnership with the SE Delco School District. Our commitment to local families is rooted in our history—we’re owned and operated by SE Delco alumni, and over 30 Academy Park graduates are part of our team.

 

We were the first provider in Delaware County to offer school-age care, and we continue to lead with programs that provide:

 

  • Trusted, local care with staff who live right in our communities

  • Fun, enriching activities that help children grow socially, emotionally, and academically

  • Optional homework help is built into the afternoon routine

  • Healthy snacks and a safe, supportive environment

  • Full-day care on select school-closure days 

Morning Fun and Daily Convenience

Early mornings are easier with Before-Care at your child’s school—or, for even earlier care, at our Sharon Hill or Clifton Heights centers. Children can enjoy self-directed activities and a positive start to their day. If your child needs a school breakfast, we’ll walk them to the cafeteria, so you can head into your day with peace of mind.

Afternoon Connection and Enrichment

The After-School Program is more than just child care—it’s an engaging experience where students can relax, recharge, and explore after a full school day. Children enjoy a variety of choices, including:

 

  • Quiet time for homework or reading

  • Group games and social time with friends

  • Creative arts, including music, painting, and DIY crafts

  • STEM and project-based activities to encourage critical thinking

  • Outdoor recreation and free play, promoting movement and wellness
